Bad breath can be alleviated by performing a few simple habits.
1) Use a tongue scraper after each meal, before bedtime, and upon waking.
2) Brush your teeth after each meal
3) Floss when you wake up and before you go to sleep. Even a small amount of leftover food can make your breath smell unpleasant.
4) Visit your dentist at least 2 X per year. Cavities, plaque and food in gum pockets can all contribute to a less than good smelling mouth.
5) Be checked for sinus infections. Some individuals have had long standing bad breath which was ‘cured’ when their sinus infection was treated. Have your doctor obtain an X-ray. If steps 1-4 don’t achieve the results you want.
